This award recognizes law firms and corporations that demonstrate a strong commitment to building diverse organizations and a more inclusive legal profession. In addition, Managing Partner Stan Blanton was honored as a Leader at the Front, publicly committing to incorporating diversity and inclusion into organizational changes that are meaningful and measurable.

The Compass Award recognizes those individuals and organizations that fulfill all the following requirements in a single calendar year:
LCLD is one of the nation's leading organizations promoting diversity. It consists of more than 350 corporate chief legal officers and law firm managing partners—the leadership of the profession—who have dedicated themselves to creating a truly diverse U.S. legal profession.
