Julia Barber, attorney in the Birmingham office and member of our Environmental & Natural Resources Practice, will provide a federal regulatory update at the 28th Annual Southeastern Environmental Law & Regulation Conference on June 14, 2019.
The conference, sponsored by the Environmental Law Section of the Alabama State Bar and the Section on Natural Resources, Energy and Environmental Law of The Mississippi Bar, will feature industry professionals from across the southeast and Minneapolis. Keynote speakers will present on the Clean Water Act, Emerging Contaminants, and Carbon Banking, Remediation and Restoration Projects and Litigation Forensics, Ethics in Social Media Marketing.
At Balch, Julia represents industrial clients, electric generating companies, and other business interests in a variety of environmental matters including environmental and natural resource litigation, environmental due diligence, and compliance and permitting issues. She routinely handles issues arising under the Clean Air Act and also has experience with the Clean Water Act, Resource Conservation and Recovery Act, and Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act.
