Balch’s Jason Tompkins Named Chair of the Appellate Practice

Balch is pleased to announce that Jason Tompkins, partner in the Birmingham office, has been named chair of the firm’s Appellate Practice. Jason has been lead or co-counsel in appeals in the Alabama state appellate courts, numerous federal circuits, and the U.S. Supreme Court. Jason handles appeals in all areas of the law, but also has developed a reputation for coordinating defense and appellate strategy across numerous jurisdictions in individual and class action lawsuits involving claims under the FDCPA, FCRA, and TCPA.
