Tashwanda provided an overview of the FFCRA and the CARES Act and ways the new laws impact employees and employers. She explained employee’s right to paid sick leave and employer obligations, the expansion of the Family Medical Leave Act, the expansion of unemployment compensation under the CARES Act, and more.
