Jesse Unkenholz to Join Panel Discussion at the Energy Bar Association’s 2020 Northeast Chapter Virtual Annual Meeting
Jesse Unkenholz, partner in the firm’s Birmingham office and member of the Energy Practice, will serve as a panelist during the Energy Bar Association’s Northeast Chapter Virtual Annual Meeting on June 11.
Jesse will join other leaders in the energy industry to discuss the topic, “Back to Work, Back to Normal?” Panelists will address the challenges faced by energy companies during the COVID-19 pandemic and the return to work transition as many companies ease employees back to the office. Panelists will also explore the ramifications of coronavirus labor laws and the effects of the pandemic on contractual business relationships.
Jesse advises clients in all aspects of the electric industry with a focus on natural gas and renewable energy generation, particularly power purchase agreements, engineering, procurement, and construction contracts, operating and service agreements, and energy market management agreements for natural gas, solar, wind, and biomass generating facilities. Jesse also has significant experience developing new wholesale and retail renewable energy products and programs, advising clients on voluntary, state, and federal green energy requirements, compliance with Renewable Energy Credit (REC) mandates and marketing requirements, and energy efficiency legislation and regulations.
