Balch Attorney Kye C. Handy Named to Mississippi Business Journal’s Top 40 Under 40

Balch & Bingham is pleased to announce that Kye C. Handy, attorney in the firm’s Jackson office and member of the Litigation Practice, has been named to the Mississippi Business Journal’s 2022 Top 40 Under 40 class. 

Top 40 Under 40 is one of Mississippi’s most prestigious awards programs, identifying 40 of the state’s dynamic men and women who have distinguished themselves before reaching their 40th birthday. Honorees have made significant contributions to Mississippi’s overall economic progress and play active roles in moving the state’s economy forward.

At Balch, Kye focuses on general and commercial litigation. Kye has experience in personal injury matters and municipality defense and has strong working knowledge of various types of chancery and probate matters. She regularly assists clients with employment discrimination suits and navigating complex issues involving the Mississippi Tort Claims Act and employment discrimination laws.

On top of her outstanding performance within the firm, Kye is dedicated to supporting her community. Kye currently serves as the co-chair of the High School Mock Trial Competition. She also serves as the District Director for Hinds Post I for the Young Lawyers Division of The Mississippi Bar. Kye is recognized as a Mid-South Super Lawyer, Rising Star and was named a One-to-Watch by the Best Lawyers in America.
