David Duhé Named to Mississippi Gulf Coast Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors
David Duhé, partner in the firm’s Gulfport office and member of the Corporate & Commercial Practice, has been named to the Mississippi Gulf Coast Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, an organization dedicated to enhancing the regional business climate. Its mission is focused on nurturing leadership, advocating for businesses and sharing vital information with the community.
David will serve a one-year term, beginning in January 2024. He will also continue as the organization’s general counsel.
The Mississippi Gulf Coast Chamber of Commerce is a membership organization representing businesses throughout the Gulf South. It comprises seven divisions and leverages its foundation to conduct professional and leadership development, education and workforce development, and provide scholarships to those seeking higher education.
David is a commercial transactional attorney who focuses on and regularly serves as counsel to sophisticated parties engaged in complex commercial arrangements in the areas of economic development, construction, energy, supply chain, fuel procurement, power delivery, resiliency services, and corporate transactions involving long-term contractual obligations, mergers and acquisitions, purchasing, leasing, construction, public laws, and incentives and compliance for both public and private clients.
He currently serves as one of five appointed commissioners to the City of Gulfport's Redevelopment Commission, the urban renewal agency of Gulfport, Mississippi. David has been recognized by The Best Lawyers in America as Lawyer of the Year in corporate law.
