Drew Johnson, counsel in the Atlanta office and member of the firm’s Energy Practice, was spotlighted in Law360 where he shared insights on his decision to return to Balch & Bingham and how he plans to leverage his two decades of experience in energy and transactional matters to benefit the firm’s clients.
Drew brings his expertise in energy regulatory and transactional matters, as well as corporate strategy and operations. Before rejoining the firm’s Energy Practice, he served as Vice President at a strategic advisory firm specializing in cross-border M&A and joint ventures.
In the Law360 article published October 22, 2024, Drew expressed his excitement for rejoining the firm.

At Balch, Drew practice will focus on energy transactions, drafting and negotiating complex long-term agreements, and navigating federal and state regulatory matters. He will also provide support on corporate transactional matters.
In his interview, Drew also emphasized how his advisory firm experience complements his previous role in Balch’s Energy Practice.
