- Industrial Development: Lead counsel for a local economic development authority with respect to the development of the largest single infrastructure investment in Jefferson County, Alabama, which is in excess of $1 billion dollars. This investment has created over 300 jobs in Jefferson County, Alabama.
- Mixed Use Acquisition and Development: Lead counsel on the acquisition of a large retail and multifamily urban mixed use property in Birmingham, Alabama.
- Urban Retail/Historic Tax Credit Redevelopment: Lead counsel for a joint venture development utilizing historic tax credits in downtown Birmingham covering two full city blocks which is designed to increase connectivity in downtown Birmingham. This project is revitalizing existing warehouses and buildings and transforming them into a lifestyle center with food and beverage option with fitness, fashion and outdoor retail as part of a comprehensive walkable development.
- Urban Workforce Housing/Historic Tax Credit Redevelopment: Lead counsel with respect to equity investment in a historic tax credit project in downtown Birmingham which created 192 affordable housing units and retail units. This project was aimed at addressing the shortage of workforce housing in downtown Birmingham.
- Mixed Use/Historic Tax Credit Redevelopment: Lead counsel with respect to equity investment in historic tax credit project in downtown Birmingham, Alabama that converted a 111-year old steel processing plant building into a popular restaurant/entertainment venue.
- Retail Shopping Mall: Represented developer in the sale of its interest in the Riverchase Galleria in Hoover, Alabama.
- Low Income Housing Tax Credit Development (9%): Lead counsel for affordable housing developer in developing a $13 million dollar affordable housing development in Jefferson County, Alabama which utilized 9% low income housing tax credits and HOME funds.
- Low Income Housing Tax Credit Development (4%): Lead counsel for affordable housing developer in developing a $30 million dollar affordable housing development in Camden County, Georgia which utilized 4% low income housing tax credits.
- Multifamily Acquisition: Lead counsel for apartment developer in acquiring $50 million dollar multi-site conventional apartment complex in Nashville, Tennessee.
- Residential subdivision development: Representation of a developer in the acquisition and development of three residential neighborhoods which are age-restricted and contain a number of common area amenities owned by the homeowner’s association for the benefit of the neighborhood residents.

Retail and multifamily development: Representation of a real estate developer in the negotiation of joint venture, and the acquisition, zoning, and development of a large retail and multifamily development in South Carolina.

Secured lending: Representation of lender in $18 million loan secured by multifamily real property in North Carolina.

Acquisition and financing of medical school and student housing: Member of team representing bond underwriter in $175 million financing of the acquisition of a medical school and student housing in Bronx, New York.
