  • What types of clients do you represent?

    In the area of commercial lending, I primarily represent financial institutions, including banks and private equity funds. On real estate projects, I represent both owners and sellers as well as landlords and tenants.

  • What type of matters do you work on most often?

    My primary area of focus has been drafting and negotiating commercial loans and loan restructurings. These transactions have ranged from asset-based credit facilities to real estate term loans secured by a variety of real estate projects located throughout the United States.

  • Real Estate Loan: Represented lender in connection with a $193,000,000 term loan secured by an office portfolio consisting of seven properties located in Texas, Maryland, Florida, North Carolina and Alabama.
  • LIHTC Transaction: Represented lender in connection with a $23,800,000 low-income housing construction loan for the construction and rehabilitation of a 120 unit low-income housing project in Jacksonville, Florida.
  • Solar Development: Represented solar developer in connection with a 700 acre 100MWac solar-power electric generating facility currently under development in Arkansas.
  • Real Estate Purchase: Represented buyer on purchase of a $78,000,000 seven property office and industrial warehouse portfolio in the Dallas-Forth Worth area. 
  • Syndicated Credit Facility: Represented lead bank in connection with $200 million syndicated credit facility.
  • Divestiture of Power Generation Assets: Represented energy service company in the divesture of its portfolio of generation assets valued at over $250 million.
  • Real Estate Loan: Represented bank in connection with $38,000,000 refinancing of medical office building in California.
  • LIHTC Transaction: Represented regional bank in $8 million construction financing for Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) multifamily complex near Birmingham, Alabama.
