Robert L. "Tripp" DeMoss III

Tripp maintains a diverse practice in federal and state courts, where he primarily focuses on appellate litigation and dispositive motion briefing. Tripp has handled appeals before the Alabama Supreme Court, the Alabama Court of Civil Appeals, and the Eleventh Circuit. Tripp also has extensive litigation experience in cases involving a variety of subjects including complex commercial disputes, labor & employment issues, as well as novel questions of administrative law and constitutional/statutory interpretation. Drawing on his experience as a public policy attorney, Tripp frequently assists clients with reviewing, analyzing and drafting legislation. Tripp has counseled state agencies on statutory and regulatory compliance matters, and has also assisted clients with navigating their own regulatory concerns. 
 
Tripp has served in every branch of the federal government: as a legislative aide and counsel in the U.S. House of Representatives, as a legislative officer in the U.S. Department of Labor during the Trump Administration, and as law clerk for Judge R. Austin Huffaker, Jr. in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Alabama. 
 
Tripp is General Counsel for the Alabama Blockchain Alliance, a trade association dedicated to supporting blockchain/cryptocurrency advocacy and education efforts in Alabama.
