What do you find most exciting about your work?

Environmental law is a constantly evolving field, with annual updates, new regulations, and shifting policies that continuously reshape our approach. I enjoy engaging with the distinctive challenges and opportunities that arise daily within environmental and natural resource law. Staying abreast of these dynamic changes is a key aspect of my professional practice.
What previous experiences, prior to your work at Balch, influence your practice?

I have actively developed my public speaking and advocacy skills during law school. I had the honor of participating as a panelist at the United Nations COP28 in Dubai, representing the Climate Leader Academy. Additionally, I served as the captain of Howard University's international moot court team, where I achieved recognition as the 5th best oralist in the Stetson Environmental Moot Court competition. These experiences have significantly enhanced my ability to offer clients a well-rounded perspective to address complex environmental issues.
