Riley W. Roby

I represent publicly traded companies, closely-held companies, non-profit organizations, quasi-governmental entities, and individuals on general business and tax planning matters. I also represent companies both deeply entrenched in Alabama and new to Alabama on a variety of matters involving Alabama government and its regulatory bodies. On economic development projects, I advise both governments and private industry.

My work regularly involves guiding businesses from their beginning to end on all issues, including formation, transaction structure, and contract negotiations. In addition, I routinely guide clients through their interaction with Alabama regulatory agencies.

I am actively involved in the Montgomery community through my leadership positions with impactful organizations such as the Central Alabama Community Foundation and the Montgomery Area Chamber of Commerce. I love the growth and development of the Montgomery during my tenure here and the fact that my work at Balch and through service organizations has enhanced the quality of life within the Montgomery community.

I most enjoy the relationships that my work allows me to cultivate with the people that I serve and the businesses that they represent.  These relationships make the fruits of my labors with these people so much sweeter.
