How are you involved in your community?

I am a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. whose mission is to be of service to all mankind. Through this organization, I serve as a mentor to high school and college girls and regularly participate in service events geared toward uplifting girls and women.
What previous experiences, prior to your work at Balch, influence your practice?

While at Emory Law, I served as an extern for the Fulton County Superior Court and the DeKalb County Public Defender's Office. These experiences allowed me to expand on my trial advocacy and research skills, provided me with the opportunity to work with different clients, and gain insight on life behind the bench.
