What previous experiences, prior to your work at Balch, influence your practice?

My prior clerkship experiences, including my clerkship at the Florida Supreme Court, have cultivated the advocacy and drafting skills needed to succeed in the courtroom as well as working with opposing counsel to resolve disputes. Equally as important, these experiences have instilled the importance of serving as a pillar and role model in the community through involvement with local events and legal aid organizations.
What do you find most exciting about your work?

Practicing law is a dynamic career, which requires continual education on the developments in the law. By staying up to date on the latest legal developments and trends, I am able to devise the best strategies for our clients.

Real Property Litigation: Successfully resolve boundary disputes, correct legal description errors, and quiet disputed titles involving numerous parties.
Construction Litigation: Successfully prosecute breach of construction contract cases, including obtaining summary judgment on breach of contract for construction services against property owner.
Electric cooperatives: Represent and advise electric cooperatives in actions, including automobile accident and property damage claims.
Insurance defense: Defend corporate clients and insurance carriers from premises liability and automobile negligence claims.
