On August 7, 2018, in Docket No. RM13-11-000, NERC submitted a supplemental informational filing to its June 29 informational filing providing additional information regarding the Balancing Authorities compliance obligations in the Western Interconnection. This information filing notes that, in the Western Interconnection, 18 Balancing Authorities met their compliance obligations during the initial year of implementation of Reliability Standard BAL-003-1.1 through participation in a Frequency Response Sharing Group managed by the Northwest Power Pool.
