Mark Bond, partner in the Gulfport office and member of Balch’s Real Estate Practice, was featured in the December 11, 2019 edition of the Land Title Association of Mississippi’s Member Highlight. In the article Mark shared how his work in the banking industry, prior to law school, proved to be instrumental in preparing him for the practice of real estate law. He credits his background in banking and commercial lending for developing an understanding of the financial and legal needs of the businesses and industries he currently serves. Mark’s passion for real estate began after assisting a client with a large rural land acquisition in Mississippi.
Mark counsels clients on a variety of real estate related issues. His experience extends to the representation of electric utilities, financial institutions, developers, and corporate clients for commercial closings. His litigation practice is primarily based in real estate related issues and the representation of various state agencies in matters pertaining to public procurement and corporate governance.
