Update: Balch & Bingham’s Continued Response to Coronavirus/COVID-19
Dear Balch Friends,
As the impact of COVID-19 continues to rise, I wanted to share with you the additional steps we are taking at Balch & Bingham to ensure the well-being of our colleagues, clients and our community. We remain fully operational, however we have advised our attorneys and staff to work remotely if possible and, if in-office work is necessary to adequately serve clients, to follow strictly the CDC’s social distancing and cleanliness guidelines.
Our virtual business continuity plan has been deployed to ensure there are no interruptions in the service we provide to you. If we are scheduled to have an in-person meeting with you, we will be making other arrangements, such as phone or web conferences. As always, you can reach a Balch attorney by using our online directory.
Our attorneys are closely monitoring the impact of COVID-19 on communities and industries and are sharing their insights daily on our COVID-19 Focus Group webpage. Our multidisciplinary focus group, which leverages the strength of 200+ attorneys across 10 cities, includes subject matter resources who are providing counsel to businesses as they prepare to respond to the evolving impact of COVID-19. We recognize that we are in uncharted territory as a nation and workforce and remain available to help. Please do not hesitate to contact the attorney with whom you work to discuss any legal issues that may arise.
There are many excellent local and national organizations that are joining together to help our communities as they try to manage this crisis. I encourage each of us to look for ways to continue to support our communities and neighbors.
On behalf of the entire Balch team, please stay healthy and safe. We look forward to more in-person interactions soon and remain available to serve your needs.
