Balch & Bingham Expands Jacksonville Office with Addition of Litigators Paul Bagley and Chezare Palacios

Balch & Bingham is pleased to welcome two new attorneys to the firm’s Jacksonville office, including Paul Bagley, who joins as partner and member of the Litigation and Commercial & Class Action Practices and Chezare Palacios, who joins as a member of the Banking & Financial Services Litigation and Intellectual Property & Trademark Practices.

Paul is a highly sought-after attorney for high-stakes litigation across several practice areas. He maintains a practice with an emphasis in healthcare and technology disputes, consumer class actions, and contractual and partnership disputes. Paul also represents clients in matters relating to securities, including claims under Section 10(b) of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, governmental investigations, construction-related disputes, consumer class actions and admiralty and maritime dispute litigation matters, representing cruise lines, cargo lines and yacht owners. With experience representing Fortune 100 publicly traded companies as well as early-stage companies and entrepreneurs, Paul regularly appears in federal and state courts throughout Florida. Paul received his J.D. from Stanford Law School.

He has also counseled and assisted clients in the procurement and maintenance of their intellectual property rights through the U.S. Patent and Trademark and U.S. Copyright Offices.

Chezare received his J.D. from The University of Florida Fredric G. Levin School of Law, where he was the editor in chief of the Journal of Tech. Law & Policy
