Balch & Bingham's Russell Dumas, a member of the firm’s Labor & Employment Practice, was recently awarded the Jackson Young Lawyers Association’s Outstanding Service Award during the Capital Area Bar Association's annual dinner, An Evening Honoring the Judiciary.
Russell was honored for his outstanding service and dedication to the Jackson community. For the past two years, Russell has served as Co-Chair (2019-2020) and Chair (2020-2021) of the Community Outreach Grant Committee for Jackson Young Lawyers, which facilitates and encourages pro bono legal services and community involvement among all young lawyers.
Founded in 1936, the Jackson Young Lawyers Association strives to strengthen the bond between attorneys in the Jackson, Miss. metropolitan area by emphasizing community, education and service.
