Ashley and Bea’s presentation, HIPAA Best Practices for HR: Ensuring Confidentiality of Medical Information addressed requesting protected health information (PHI) and putting PHI safeguards in place.

Their presentation included best practices for crafting legally compliant job descriptions, what employers can and can’t ask about, enforcement of non-competes and confidentiality agreements, verifying immigration status and other relevant labor and employment topics.
