Ames Filippini, attorney in the Birmingham office and a member of the Labor & Employment Practice, has been accepted into the Birmingham Bar Association’s (BBA) Future Leaders Forum Class of 2024, aimed at cultivating the next generation of legal and community leaders in Birmingham.
The Future Leaders Forum is designed to prepare motivated attorneys, licensed for three to eight years, to become leaders in the community and the Bar. Running for six sessions from July to December, the program covers topics such as leadership development, business development, criminal justice, teambuilding, the history and future of Birmingham, and nonprofits and education.
At Balch, Ames maintains a diverse practice in civil litigation, including labor and employment, class action, and wrongful death matters. Her work includes defending employers against claims involving employment laws such as Title VII, ADEA, and FMLA.
In joining the Future Leaders Forum, Ames follows in the footsteps of other Balch attorneys, including Adam Israel and Conrad Anderson, who are also alumni of the program.
