Lauren Weisman Stein Joins Balch & Bingham, Strengthens Corporate & Commercial Practice

Balch & Bingham is excited to welcome Lauren Weisman Stein as a partner in the firm’s Jacksonville, Florida office, strengthening our Corporate & Commercial Practice with her vast experience supporting a variety of business and transactional matters.

Lauren’s practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, private placement fundraising, and complex commercial contracting. Lauren supports clients across various industries including healthcare, technology, energy, consumer goods, and professional services.

Another key component of Lauren’s practice is her experience acting as outside general counsel, handling issues including entity formations, partnership arrangements, corporate governance, intellectual property, customer and vendor contracting, and regulatory compliance. Her practice also includes business and growth strategy, pre-transaction grooming, and high-level dispute management.

Lauren received her J.D., cum laude, from William & Mary Law School. She is a member of the North Florida Association for Corporate Growth and a member of the board for Smart North Florida. She has been recognized for excellence by The Best Lawyers in America®, and by Super Lawyers, named a Rising Star since 2021.
