Stan Blanton Named to 2024 “Who’s Who In Law” List by Birmingham Business Journal

Stan Blanton, Chairman of the firm’s Executive Committee and Managing Partner, was featured in the Birmingham Business Journal’s 2024 “Who's Who in Law” list, published in August 2024. The annual list highlights key leaders in the Magic City legal industry. 

As Managing Partner, Stan oversees the strategic direction of the firm’s nine offices across the Southeast, Texas and Washington, D.C. He is Chair of the firm’s Nuclear Energy Practice and is recognized as one of the nation’s leading lawyers in nuclear regulation and policy. He is relied upon by clients for his ability to provide practical counsel to owners and operators seeking expert advice on the full gamut of agency facing, general regulatory and commercial matters across the nuclear sector. 

Stan was also previously named an Executive of Influence by the Birmingham Business Journal and is recognized in Chambers USA, Chambers Global, The Best Lawyers in America^® and Mid-South Super Lawyers.  In 2023, The Best Lawyers in America^® named Stan Lawyer of the Year in Energy Law, Birmingham region.

Stan is an active member of Alabama’s business community. He serves on the Birmingham Business Alliance Board of Directors, the University of Alabama School of Law Foundation Board of Governors, the Regional Council of Leadership Alabama and the Quarterbacking Children's Health Foundation Board of Trustees. 

Stan was named a 2022 Diversity Awards Winner by the Birmingham Business Journal. He was recognized in the ‘Individual Award’ category, which honored leaders who proved to be champions of diversity in their companies, their industries and the metro Birmingham community. Stan was honored as an Outstanding CEO, an award identifying top executives who are leading the charge in creating work cultures that foster diversity and inclusion, spearheading tangible change within their organization, industry or community.

He has been named to the Birmingham Business Journal’s “Who’s Who in Law” since 2016.
