Balch & Bingham’s State Public Policy & Government Relations Practice has been actively engaged in advocating, creating and amending state policy since the firm’s inception in 1922. Balch has represented our clients on numerous major landmark public policy initiatives, specifically in the areas of environmental conservation, energy, ethical compliance, banking and insurance, economic development incentives, gaming, government contracts, education, elections law, law enforcement, and taxation, among others.
Our state government relations team of seasoned attorneys and professionals have the depth of relationships and knowledge of the political process to make a difference. Our results-oriented practice works closely with state legislative and executive branches, state attorneys general, other constitutional officers, and state regulatory agencies on a myriad of public policy and regulatory issues.
