The new partners, Ryan Hodinka, Alan Lovett and Dan Ruth, are located in the Birmingham office and represent the Corporate, Energy and Litigation Practices.

Ryan Hodinka, partner in the Litigation Practice, represents some of the country's best-known companies in high-stakes litigation. He focuses on commercial, construction, and products liability litigation, and is experienced in handling all aspects of a case, both at the federal and state trial court levels.
Alan Lovett, partner in the Energy Practice, counsels electric utility companies who own a diverse mix of generation resources in all manner of commercial and regulatory matters. A key focus area of his practice involves serving owners and operators of nuclear generation facilities. Alan’s nuclear practice spans new plant construction, operating fleet matters, decommissioning, and nuclear transactions, including commercial and regulatory matters.
Dan Ruth, partner in the Corporate Practice, counsels a wide variety of clients, ranging from publicly-traded companies to start-ups, along with non-profit and quasi-governmental entities, across a spectrum of transactional and tax matters. A significant portion of Dan’s practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, tax controversies, and economic development initiatives and project support to encourage business growth and sustainability. Dan earned his J.D., cum laude, from Cumberland School of Alabama and LL.M. from the University of Florida Fredric G. Levin School of Law.
