Steven Burns, partner in the firm’s Birmingham office and member of the Environmental & Natural Resources Practice, was elected vice chair of the Alabama Chapter of the Air & Waste Management Association (A&WMA). This is Steven’s third time to serve as a member of the chapter’s leadership, having previously served as chair and vice chair.
The A&WMA is a national professional development organization comprised of more than 5,000 environmental professionals across the country. The organization works to enhance knowledge and expertise through information exchange, professional development, networking opportunities, public education, and outreach. The Alabama Chapter of A&WMA provides members with environmental leadership, region-specific programming, and networking opportunities on a state level.
Steven advises clients on coal ash, waste and contamination, waterways, wildlife management, air and water quality, and natural resources.
