American Bar Association's Tort Trial & Insurance Practice Section Spotlights Steven Corhern

The American Bar Association's Tort Trial and Insurance Practice Section (TIPS) recently featured Balch Partner Steven Corhern in its member spotlight. TIPS is the source of knowledge and leadership on trial practice and critical issues of justice that involve tort and insurance law.

Steven joined TIPS in 2018, interested in the work conducted by the Insurance Coverage Litigation Committee. He is now the committee's social media vice-chair, vice-chair on the Business Litigation and Appellate Advocacy Committee and vice-chair on the Standing Committee on Outreach to Young Lawyers. Diving into the benefits of membership, Steven told TIPS that he enjoys the great community of lawyers and the opportunity to meet new friends and mentors. 

A partner in Balch's Birmingham office, Steven focuses on insurance coverage, mass torts, and class actions. Steven regularly advises business on insurance and indemnity issues and has defended businesses in state and federal courts across the United States.
