Kye C. Handy to Serve as Panelist at ABA TIPS Business Litigation Conference

Kye C. Handy, attorney in the firm’s Jackson office and member of the Litigation Practice, will serve as a panelist at “The Next Generation and the Future of Business Litigation” conference presented by the American Bar Association (ABA) Tort Trial & Insurance Practice Section (TIPS) Business Litigation Committee on February 1, 2024, in Louisville, Kentucky.

Her panel titled, “Viral in the Law: The Dos and Don’ts of Social Media,” will explore what types of videos are appropriate for legal practitioners to post on social media and which ones may raise ethical concerns.

The ABA’s TIPS is the recognized industry source of knowledge and leadership on trial practice and critical issues of justice that involve tort and insurance law.

Kye is the ABA Young Lawyers Division Affiliate President for Mississippi and serves on both the Resolutions Team and the Credentials Team.

At Balch, Kye focuses on general and commercial litigation. She has substantial experience in personal injury matters and municipality defense and has strong working knowledge of various types of chancery and probate matters. She regularly assists clients with deceptive trade practices and toxic tort matters and how to navigate complex e-discovery matters.
