Balch & Bingham is pleased to announce that Rylee Zalanka has joined the firm’s Birmingham, Alabama office, strengthening the firm’s globally ranked Energy Practice.
Rylee focuses on regulatory and compliance issues affecting utilities and other energy industry participants, including issues arising before state public service commissions, the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, and the Nuclear Regulatory Commission. Rylee also provides guidance to facilitate transactions within the energy industry, including transactions between utilities and vendors.
Rylee represents an array of energy clients including electric and fossil fuel utilities, as well as renewable energy companies.
Rylee received his J.D., magna cum laude, from University of Mississippi School of Law.
