Balch & Bingham is pleased to announce that Drew Cicero has joined the firm’s Birmingham, Alabama office as a member of the firm’s Creditors Rights & Bankruptcy Practice.
Drew brings experience representing banks, lenders, financial institutions, and debtors in bankruptcy, federal, and state courts throughout Alabama and Mississippi. He will support the firm’s Banking & Finance team in advising clients on a variety of financial services matters.
His practice includes collateral recovery, business-to-business litigation, and tax protests, among other areas in the insolvency space, including preference defense, bankruptcy litigation, and debtor representation.
An active member of the legal community, Drew serves as the 2025 Chair of the Birmingham Bar Association’s Bankruptcy & Commercial Law Section. He is also a member of the National Italian American Bar Association, The Mississippi Bar, and The Alabama Bar.
Drew received his J.D. from The University of Mississippi School of Law.
